Guided Creative Meditation through Art-Making

Guided Creative Meditation through Art-Making


This 1 hour workshop promotes mindfulness and 

relaxation using art-making. 


Participants will: 


  • Engage in Community Building
  • Practice Guided Meditation that incorporates Looking at Art
  • Make Expressive Art that promotes Mindfulness and Relaxation 
  • Have opportunities to share their art & personal reflections 


A suggested materials list will be provided. However, all art-making prompts can be done using materials you have access to at home.

This program can be adapted for 

youth or adult audiences. 


In-person workshops are available for gatherings following recommended safety guidelines 

during the Covid19 Pandemic. 


***Adaptations will be made for in-person workshops to support current best practices as indicated by the Center for Disease Control, the Whole Health Organization and local government guidelines, to ensure safety for all participants and artist.

This 1 hour workshop is a long-form meditation 

designed to promote mindfulness 

while using expressive art-making.

Participants will:

  • Enjoy a Long-form Guided Creative Meditation using visualization, art-making and expressive writing
  • Make Art while listening to a curated playlist of Relaxing Music 
  • Speak Positive Affirmations
  • Practice Deep Breathing 


A suggested materials list will be provided. However, all art-making prompts can be done using materials you have access to at home.

  • Make expressive art with a focus on self-compassion 
  • Respond to expressive writing prompts with a focus on self-compassion
  • Have opportunities to share their art & personal reflections

Workshop Logistics

All arts & wellness workshops are customized to meet 

client goals and logistical needs. 


Each workshop facilitates art-making activities such as painting, drawing, collage, visual mapping with post it notes, visual journaling, poetry, drama, music, movement,  personal narrative writing, and creative socratic discussions based on selected topics, curated artworks and readings. 

The art-making activities promote self-expression, 

self-awareness and inner well-being.
